 Summer Project

Over the Summer we were all given a Summer project part of it was to create a mood board of where we see ourselves in 5 years time. We were given possible questions to ask ourselves when creating it, such as what we wanted to look like, what was our dream job, who would we want to work with and who inspires us. On our first day we were put into group to discuss our mood boards, we had to ask the people in our groups what our mood board portrayed, where we got the research, what we could do to improve it and also if we were happy with the end result.

On my mood board I want to express my love for helping women and men with make up dilemma's, so that is why I have a picture of a make up counter as this is a great way of helping people one on one. I also have YouTube on my board this represents all the times I've struggled with make up, I'd always click on to YouTube to find a solution. Three of my favourite Make up guru's on my board, Wayne Goss, Lisa Eldridge and the Pixiwoo Sister's these were a few of the YouTube guru's I started watching first.
All the my picture's were found on the Internet and my background is packaging I had at home lying about.
What I found difficult about this project was making sure it portrayed what I want to be in 5 years time, I did find it hard to get inspired but in the end I'm happy with the final outcome but I think an improvement I'd make if I was doing it again would be make a little more personal possibly a picture of me working on a counter or a couple of face charts to show what I can do.

Nicole Hackh

This is Nicole's mood board showing what she wants to be in 5 years time. She wanted to portray her desire to work on Catwalks doing fashion Make up, she also wanted to demonstrate her love for travel so she incorporated that into her mood board.
She got all her research from a magazine, which she cut pictures from.
She said she'd improve it by adding face charts of her potential fashion make up looks.
Overall she thought she could have added more to fill the page so that it was bursting with ideas of what she see's herself doing in 5 years time.

Isley Wyle Le Greaves

This is Isley's mood board she wanted to portray her love of London and how she'd one day love to work there working on films, theatre and TV. She also wanted to express that she wanted to be independent and healthy.
Isley's found her research on the internet and magazines.
The way she'd improve her mood board was to maybe incorporate her own drawings and spend a little more time really capturing who she'd like to be.

Emma Wandless

This is Emma's mood board she wanted to express her passion to have her own brand for example maybe having her own make up brand, she'd also love to have her own studio where she could work on her portfolio.
She got her research from the internet and also magazines.
Next she'd like to make it bigger and also more 3D, she'd also would add some face charts to show her style of make up.
Overall next time, she'd make it more personal with drawings and spend a little more time perfecting it.

Kyomi Best

Kyomi's mood board her love to work on a magazine doing the make up for celebrities, she also portrayed that she'd like to work on adverts and also catwalks.
She got her research from the internet and from magazines.
Next time Kyomi would make it slightly more personal by adding her own drawings and also adding some prosthetic's.
Overall Kyomi liked it but she'd spend a little more time as she hadn't finished.
