Induction Week: Orientation Exercise
During our first week at Solent University, we were given a task to complete by the end of the week. Our task was to find different locations that may be of use of us throughout the next year. Once we had found the location we had to take a 'Selfie' outside the location using our phones.
First we had to find West Quay Shopping Centre
Once we were inside West Quay Shopping center we had to find selected Make up counter's.
The first one we found was M.A.C Cosmetics, a couple of they're best sellers is firstly they're Studio Collection and also they're Pro Longwear Collection.
I personally love they're Pro Longwear collection. I have the tried the Pro Longwear Concealer and also the foundation and both are staples in my make up collection because if I know I'm going to have a long busy day I just use those products as they have lasting power.
I think MAC is aimed at every age group from younger to maturer customers. They have products that are suitable for every skin type.
Secondly we visited Benefit Cosmetics. I love the packaging Benefit uses as it's very girly and extremely eye catching. Two of Benefit Cosmetics best sellers is They're Real Mascara which is actually the world's best selling Mascara and they're Porefessional Primer which is the UK's best selling Primer. I have tried both they're star products and both were good, to be honest I preferred the Mascara more.
I personally think Benefit does cater for every age however a lot of customers don't know that as the packaging is very girly and young, which may possible put them off.
The third counter we visited was Smash box. I am a huge fan of Smash box products and have a large collection of they're products. They're Best seller would have to be they're Photo Finish Foundation Primer which has actually won the Company Beauty Awards in 2013. One of my personal favourites would have to be the BB Concealer which is amazing for brightening up under the eyes.
Smash box works for any skin type of age and the packaging portrays they're professionalism.
The Fourth counter we visited was Bobbi Brown. We took a picture of they're list of top ten best sellers. One of the best sellers is they're Long wear Gel Eyeliner.
I personally have not tried anything from Bobbi Brown but I would love to.
From looking at the counter the products look easy to use and I have seen from many YouTube videos and Blog's that they're products can be used by any age or skin type.
The last counter we visited was Laura Mercier. One of they're best sellers is the Secret Camouflage concealer which covers any imperfections on the skin.
I have yet to try anything from this company but I have hear great things about they're Tinted Moisturiser.
The counter looked very professional and also looked like it would suit any age or skin type as they had a large collection of products.
